Edward A. Smeltzer, age 53, died on April 29, 2000, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. He was born in Lawrence on March 13, 1947.
He leaves his companion Norma Morava, with whom he lived. Other survivors include his mother, Theresa (Doucette) Smeltzer of West Palmetto, FL; son Michael of Dayton Beach, FL; daughter Tina of Port Orange, FL; and two granddaughters.
Ed is buried in Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
