Kevin J. Cook, 65, of Lawrence passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston.  He was born in Lynn and was the son of William P. and Emily (Brodbine) Cook.

Kevin attended Cheverus Academy in Maine and was a graduate of Andover High School.  After marrying his wife Donna, in 1970, he moved to Lawrence, where had had lived with his family for the past 44 years.  He was the Service Manager at Woodworth Motors in Andover until his retirement in 2012.

Kevin enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.  He liked traveling to Foxwoods, playing 45s with family and friends, fishing at Salisbury Beach, and buying scratch tickets.  Kevin was a huge fan of all New England sports teams.  He was an avid reader and loved a good crossword puzzle.  He also liked to cook and grill for his family.  His idea of the perfect Friday night was dinner at Kitty's Restaurant with his wife.

The center of Kevin's life was his family.  He loved to brag about his children and grandchildren and all of their accomplishments.  Kevin sat back and loved the Cook craziness surrounding him, whether it be birthday parties, holiday gatherings, or famiy vacations.  His absolute favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. He was their biggest fan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna M. (Bedard) Cook; his children Colleen C. Cook and wife Beth of Lawrence, Shaun P. Cook and wife Kerrie of Lancaster, PA, Patricia C. Hebert and husband Robert of Methuen, Shannon C. Siviski and husband Ryan of Methuen, his brother Paul Cook and wife Cilla of Haverhill; his sisters Briane Cook of Milford, NH, Eileen Igoe of Haverhill, Karen Metro and husband Ed of Acton. Maura Azzaoui and husband Karim of Florida; his grandchldren Cassie, Nathan, Addie, Ryan, Owen, Cora, Autumn, and Evan; and his grandpups Colbe and Charlie Roo.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
