Thomas John Connolly, 66, died peacefully in his home.  Born in Lawrence, he was an Andover native.  As a child, he was an active Boy Scout.  He attended Shasta College in Reading, CA.  Five days after his 18th birthday, he was drafted by the Army and sent to Vietnam.  After his return home, he re-enlisted and served in Germany.  He was a five star soldier and specialized in Field Artillery.  he was a lifetime member of the VFW American Legion Post #2104.  He was proud of his services for his country and loved and respected by all.

He is survived by his son Jason and wife Karen of Methuen; brother Craig and his wife Sally Sonnolly of Salem, NH; and sister Sally and husband Joe Conlon of Pelham, NH; and grandchildren, Jason Jr. and Abigail.
